Thomas Campi is an award-winning Italian graphic novelist , after living 6 years in China,  he’s been granted the Distinguished Talent Visa and is now a permanent resident in Sydney, Australia. Thomas has been making comics for over 18 years, and his work has been published in Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Brazil, Korea, USA, United Kingdom by publishers such as Sergio Bonelli Editore (Italy), Ediciones La Cúpula, LeLombard (France-Belgium), Dupuis (France-Belgium), Munhakdongne (Korea), Coconino (Italy), NBM-Papercutz ( USA ), SelfMadeHero ( UK ) , amongst others. The graphic novels Les Larmes De Seigneur Afghan, script by the RTBF (National Belgian Television) reporter Pascale Bourgaoux and Vincent Zabus, and Macaroni! ,  script by Zabus , published by Dupuis  have been both awarded the Cognito Prize as Best Documentary Graphic Novel at the Belgium Book Fair in Brussels in 2014 and 2016. In 2014 Thomas received the International Spectrum Fantastic Art 21 Gold Comic Award and in 2015 has been also recognised with a Bronze Ledger Award in Australia. His last solo exhibition was “Les Petites Gens” at the Comic Strip Museum of Brussels, Belgium. His latest graphic novel “Magritte-Ceci n’est pas une biographie ( this is not a biographie)  script by Vincent Zabus , published in french by Le Lombard with support of the Magritte Museum ( Brussels, Belgium) has been translated in Italian ( Coconino Press), German ( Carlssen ) and English ( SelfMadeHero) . He is currently working in collaboration with Julian Voloj on Joe Shuster a graphic novel about the creators of Superman, which will be published in 7 languages at the end of the year ( November 2017 ).
